Its actually pretty good these days. MUCH better than it used to be. Plus they have some great original shows. Bosch is worth the price of admission.

Really hope amazon does not turn into another newegg, because that site is not at all what it once was.

Honestly cannot recall the last thing I have purchased on newegg... It's probably been years since I shopped there.

FWIW, as soon as they introduced taxes is when I stopped shopping at both places as frequently. The deals weren't anywhere near as good when you had to pay shipping, wait a while, or pay a 'membership' fee (I'd have gotten rid of prime, but $50 for the year is good enough for Prime Video; completely agree about Bosch, great show).

Living in a big city makes it easy to do that, no idea where I would be tech-wise without Microcenter and craigslist/offerup.

Well at least the fulfillment workers don't have to worry about their jobs being lost to robots. You can't worry about your job being lost to robots if you didn't have the job in the first place

I was wondering why their selection seemed lackluster as of late. Yes, I too only buy form either the "sold and shipped by amazon" or at least "sold by x and shipped by amazon". I would really hate it if they just become and overgrown ebay.

Have a kid...

48 will become 448 because for baby stuff there's nowhere better

Sold and shipped by Amazon is the only thing I look for. next prime renewal won't be as easy a decision as the last

This is a speculative article. I don't see Amazon moving to a drop ship model anytime soon. Drop shipping would most likely end most of the benefits of Prime. I don't see suppliers delivering same day.

Amazon just opened a new 855,000 sq foot fulfillment center 10 minutes from my house a few months ago, which would be the 3rd center in my immediate area. I buy most things from Amazon and have an Amazon credit card that I accumulate points to spend at Amazon. I have $200 worth of points saved up at the moment.

Newegg is still many times better than misbegotten Amazon!

There's article on this site about it being a false alarm. I can't read it since I'm using adblocker.

https://www.adweek.com/digital/false...ors-last-week/

For some reason I can't find other articles about the subject outside of fear mongering.

Love the amazon credit card. Really generous cash back.
