7nm Ryzen outperforms 14nm+++ Skylake in the majority of tasks at similar price points.

Definitely not a universal win though.

Only matters of time before games start to take advantage of CPU cores parallelism, that is the day AMD will shine and kill intel for good. Unless Intel match up to the competition with real competitive prices.

I don't quite get this logic. To me as a consumer p/p is the much better metric than performance alone, since I have to buy the product. In that regard the 9900k loses to products in it's own lineup. To each their own though, I reckon.

Not everyone is buying on a budget and buys strictly based on performance. Quite a simple logic actually lol

Not really. Everyone who buys a product considers price when buying something. It applies for everything unless illogical. ex) would ppl buy the 9900k at $10k...no ofc not as they have to consider that price, unless they are being irrational.

I do suspect though some of these posts are drive by trolling to get things fired up and then some justifying their purchase...
