this is kind of cool though. think about this. it would be a replacement of magnetic mediums such as LTO tapes for quantum i6k libraries as they go to vaults for years at a time and the expected life span is about 7 years and readable (with degration) of 13-20 years.

We used to have an old mainframe using old tapes that were shelf lifed of 15-17 year old tapes still being used is why i can say the lifetime 13-20year lol.
