[IE] Doctors in China Are Using AI to Screen COVID-19 Patients

Quote:
Physicians in China are using AI to help detect coronavirus
A team of physicians in Wuhan, China, at the Zhongnan Hospital are using GPU-accelerated software to detect the visual signs of COVID-19. This AI-based software relies on NVIDIA GPUs for both training and inference and is alleviated the pressure on overworked staff to screen patients for the virus.

The software is greatly helping medical staff to prioritize those who are likely to have contracted the virus.

The software has been developed by a Beijing-based startup called inferVISION. This company is a member of NVIDIA's AI incubator Inception.

i keep tellin' y'all.

put $10k in NV now, wait 10 years, thank me. they're gonna break 300 a piece, maybe be the end of the week. This news put a big bump in their stock today.

They will rival samsung in value in not too many more years. people think the opporutinity is already gone cuz they went from 25 to 250 in 3 years. well, just wait n see what happens next, you'll regret it.

NV is a baby in comparison to what they'll become over the next decade. They ARE the AI revolution.

i wonder if it erks jensen that they're still listed as just a gaming company?

lol

Best thing for healthcare would be removing the human element.

There is talk of training AI on pandemic type scenarios using info from what is playing out today. It's apparently a highly valuable set of data that we're creating at the present time.

I'll bet political dissidents are flagged as being infected w/coronavirus at an enhanced rate.

A Chinese guy I know said a doctor in China who tried to publicly raise concerns about coronavirus was disappeared.

TBH, I'm concerned about the evolution of robotics. I've lost my job because of the quarantine. It would be the same if I was replaced by some goddamn robot. What should I do in this case? The same thing I do now? Sit at home and die from boredom? Or should I just start to do crazy stuff? Rob people? Gambling, maybe? One of my friends sent me an article about gambling on this professionalrakeback.com site. He says that this is a "cure" for boredom and a way to earn money. Maybe I really should start playing poker or something? I don't know.
