Go to: https://www.starlink.com/

Enter email and zip code

Quote:
Thank you for your interest in Starlink!
Starlink is designed to deliver high speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable, expensive, or completely unavailable. Private beta testing is expected to begin later this summer, followed by public beta testing, starting with higher latitudes.
If you provided us with your zip code, you will be notified via email if beta testing opportunities become available in your area. In the meantime, we will continue to share with you updates about general service availability and upcoming Starlink launches.

not interested unless a trip to the moon is A PRIZE.

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
If you need help:
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.

If I can get those gigabit+ speeds for dirt cheap and sub 10ms latency like was promised then count me in. Otherwise not interested in it.

well, at least you can still most likely see them in the sky every evening, if you look in the right direction at the right time.

if not, then soon.

just remember. It's not a UFO this time. It's gonna be OK... unless you're an astronomer.

Add me on Steam, same name

This is kinda of the big deal at least in the US. Most of US are locked into monopolies for isps. In 1996 we had the https://www.fcc.gov/general/telecommunications-act-1996 that gave billions in funding to isps to roll out affordable broadband to citizens. Did those isps abide by the act? NO! As such most of us are stuck with 1 provider and lousy service for ever increasing costs.

Any competition is good!

ISP's need to be socialized just like electric.

They had their chance and have been screwing us for years with no end in sight.
