LG SK9000 and Win10 HDR

Having an issue with enabling HDR. I can turn it on within Windows/games and it works fine, but the LG WebOS pops up saying I must turn on HDMI Deep Color. I can operate the OS no problem, but the damn popup is stuck in the way. If I go ahead and turn on the HDMI Deep Color like the little popup tells me to do, the video output fails and the screen goes black into standby. I have tried restarting my computer, as the popup also suggests, but it has no affect.

I am using a GTX 1080 with the latest drivers as well a fresh Win10 install.
