Hi, has anyone experienced with the idea to use a large 4k TV as a table top? Not very practicle for watching movies but can be useful to make use of table top space (specially if you are clean). You are able to put data sheets on the TV screen, discord chats, streams, there are just endless ideas. The basic point is to mount the TV flat on the desk legs, and have a glass desk over the TV along with all your monitor, keyboard and mouse.
That would take a lot to get used to. I don't see myself ever being able to get used to it. Only way is with a touch screen monitor, I can't see myself ever using a TV that way.
Getting used to it would be the biggest obstacle for me
Yeah if it was a touch screen I can see the point, otherwise maybe just to display images on to change the appearance of the surface of the desk... seems like it would be frustrating to use it productively if you had a keyboard and mosue on it
