65" Q70R vs Lg 55" OLED

So i recently just bought the Q70r for 1200 without really doing much research besides the fact that I needed q70R or higher. But now i realized the OLED is way better than QLED but a lot more expensive. So would you guys recommend me to stick with the 65" 70r, or should i drop it to a 55" OLED, either the b9 or c9. Is dropping the screen size worth the picture quality? If I go with OLED i can not stomach the price of the 65" so 55" is the highest I can go. I will mainly use this tv for tv shows, movies, light gaming on my ps4 thats not a pro.

Thanks in advance

I'd go B9 over C9 for sure, if you do decide to flip.

i'd recommend going to down to best buy to look at em' side by side. see if its worth the hassle.

If the above helps in any capacity. However, I think OLED's are in there own class compared to typical LCD panel displays. Like VA / IPS etc.

Opinion: I purchased the C9 a week ago (coming from a 40" LCD Samsung from 2010) and as long as I don't experience burn-in... there is no going back from OLED.

Size is dependent on your seating setup / view distance but I would go with panel quality over size. Especially since you're comparing 55" vs 65". If the disparity is size was larger (i.e 65" vs 40")... it would be a tough call.

How much of a cost difference between the tv you purchased vs the B9?

I paid 1300 for the 65" q70R after tax.

The price for a 65" c9 on newegg is $1799 while b9 is $1599. Before tax

Price for 55" c9 is $1479 and b9 is $1149. Before tax

Which one do you think. I know there's no future proofing with tech but i plan on using this tv for 4+ years. Please let me know

Thank You

Honest opinion? I think your tv is pretty good (by the looks of the review).

It comes down to what you value more. Screen size or quality. Size is typically determined by view distance.

If you would consider a 55”, just go for the B9. As its the closest to your original budget.

I love my TV but I described my comparison. I have a large bias for the OLED. I haven’t purchased a new TV since 2010. Once that first LG OLED came out a few years ago (2015?), I knew it was the display I wanted. Hell, even further back I knew I wanted an OLED.

Maybe in 2008 or earlier there were these Sony stores in Canada and they had these 12” OLED displays that were paper thin. Blew my mind.

Waited till I could afford it and I am happy I held out 🙂

idk anything about the E8, I just know the B9 will handle all the same tasks as C9. it doesn't limit the VRR capability, and its still LG OLED. If i remember correctly, it's a different class of processor. I'm nowhere aficionado enough in TV land to go into all that.
