Hey there, so my brother wants to me look into getting him a home theater set up for around $500-600

I have the Denon AVR-1613 and HTD Towers and HTD Center Speaker in mine. But he doesn't have the money to get the same level of setup, so I was looking at some cheaper options.

As for the receiver, I only really know anything about Denon's and was looking at

Denon AVR-S500BT for $250.

Denon AVR-E200 for $200.

Prefer to have Network connectivity if at all possible, or Bluetooth.

As far as speakers go I was looking at

Polk Audio Monitor60 Series II Floorstanding Loudspeaker for $100 each.

and

Polk Audio Monitor Series Two-Way Center Channel Speaker for $80

That comes to $480-$530 depending on receiver. I was hoping you all could shed some light on the speakers if you have any experience with them, or have your own suggestions. I am open to anything, thanks in advance!

as for floorstanding speakers I'd look on craigslist to see what you can find. some really good used speakers are jbl s312, as a whole though jbl speakers are really clean they also have a higher end line called revel sometimes you can find some steals. b&w makes some good stuff. garage sales you can find some good stuff to sometimes.
