I checked the enclosure, the spider and cone, everything seem to be fine, no tearing or rubbing sound.
Then when i play it at mid volume it sound like something is rattling (not the floor or anything, it come from the subwoofer).
Thinking it might be a voice coil that is bad but i might be wrong, would this one fit the bill for replacement?

Never believe the hype.
Consoles aren't about hardware, they're about good games.

Probably the voice coil.

I would try and get a sub with the matching size of what you currently have.

But I would also pay the extra money and get one with the highest sensitivity you can get, and the lowest ohms your amp will support. Largely to get the most out of the amp.

+1

You shouldn't lust pick any speaker that will fit because how a speaker sounds and how loud it plays depends greatly on what enclosure it is in..
