looking for solution

I have a HDTV 42-in 43-in or so. connected to the HDTV is Xfinity Comcast cable box through HDMI port 1 and Chromecast through HDMI port 2 on the TV. The TV has only two HDMI ports.

HDTV has no high def extraction audio output. like optical.

I want to Hook up a soundbar to the TV.

but the tv options are not enough.

This works.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insigni...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

You can also hook it up to this if you have to control all sources. You can also use this for a switch.

I even tried USB to USB but my TV is USB in only not out and in. I do not know if my HDMI ports are ARC on my TV. so I'm not sure if that HDMI box will work. I'm just going to order a 4K TV at Best buy look at them I had the TU7000 ordered by Samsung but I read reviews where the screen would give discoloration on a lot of units that Samsung is selling so I ups do a return to sender.

I picked up the LG 43-in 4K. it has a lot of ports. include an optical. this is the one here it's pretty badass.

also the GUI is fast.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-43-c...?skuId=6363867

people were saying that the TU-7000 interface is laggy That's another reason why that turned me off. never used webos but it's fast. "lg".

now I need to pick up the Chromecast 4K because I have Samsung S10 plus which is 4K and can distribute that resolution overcast.

congrats!

I hope you got an extended warranty on it though, the network board likes to fry itself after a time. Eventually leaving you stuck using a Firestick or similar as the LAN & WIFI are both dead.

Add me on Steam, same name
R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.

cant get away. it is what is. it does have web OS above 3.5 so it's not rootable.
other than that it works as a TV and I like it picture quality seems good but I'm not an expert.

also sound on the TV is awesome but I hooked my sound bar up which is even better too bad we can't have both enabled at once. optical.
