Hello everyone,

So there's really weird problem with the Go Pro Session 5 and MicroSD card compatibility.

The thing is that it gives "SD error" when switched on, therefore you can't use the Go Pro.

Of course all kinds of formatting were made (sd card via PC, smartphones, but can't do it on the camera itself cause it hangs and gives error again).

The funny thing is that Micro SD works on other tech, on smartphone and PC, you can use it without any problems. The same goes with the Go Pro - other cards work OK with it. And the funniest thing is that this card worked perfectly with the same previous owned Go Pro Session 5.

So I really have no idea what is this?!

Pls help biggrin.gif

how did you do a firmware update without the function of an sd slot?
The problem is that the sd card I use works in other gopros and on my computer. But everytime I get the sd card in my gopro hero 5 black, the is an error sd card.

Should I do a firmeware update?
Do I need an sd card the get the firmware update done?

thanks

If your disk drive is unrecognized by the PC, then why don’t you reinstall the disk driver to fix the GoPro SD card error. To do so, you have just go to Start then select the Control Panel > Device Manager > Disk drives > Removable Drive. After that click on the Uninstall option and disconnect the SD card from your device and restart the PC.
