Just installed a fresh install of windows on my 830 and notice a huge difference in load times compared to my older 470. thumb.gif

Also you can I be added to the list?

Wanna join the party. Samsun 830 128gb Sata3 with Amd Ahci Drivers. Man it feels good to know AMD has finally sorted and tweaked their AHCI/RAID drivers. The benchmark is made after some time writing/reading image files tongue.gif . Usually, after a TRIM+GC(1 hour idle) pass, I score 515/315 or so. Man I'm in love with this tiny little piece of hardware, best upgrade since I changed a crappy SYS graphics card for a VooDoo 3 3000 some 13 years ago xD

Yea got it yesterday, was a bit busy. Here is my AS SSD score:338

Installed the magician 3.1 only thing I noticed that was useful was the OS optimization although I already did the ones on Sean's guide so really no point unless you wanna save an extra 5 min.

Gotcha. smile.gif You and Nonehxc are added, as well as Metalcrack, though I don't know which model he has yet.

I have a 64GB one in my 13" MBP. Phenomenal drive - picked it up a couple months ago when it was on sale for $85. Definitely beats the Corsair Performance III SSD in my sig rig.

Origin ID: nabilm92 [add me for BF3!]

I've been running an 830 128gb for a few weeks now with no problems, except. I wanted to secure erase for a new copy of win 7 install. Using the Magician tool to make a bootable USB drive works fine, but when I boot to it to begin secure erase the screen is just a jumbled, doubled mess. I tried the bootable dvd with the same results.
Anybody else try this ?

C'mon ladies. Grab your skirts and start dancing. First firmware for our much beloved Samsungs 830(this specifically for the Samsung 830 128gb Sata3, although I think the firmware is the same for all models):
