Was thinking installation is going to be little harder than normally, but i was easy as it can be, plug, boot to windows, clone, choose 950 pro as main boot drive, done! smile.gif

Benching with AS-SSD I can get 300K IOPS too, strange that we can't do it with the official samsung software but no problem. smile.gif

One thing i noticed is that AS SSD reports the IOPS at a Queue Depth of 64. Magician reports its IOPS at a Queue Depth of 32.

So what's the general consensus for one of these on windows 10? Do you use the samsung driver or not? also do you need the magician software installed? (should you?)

My friend bought the 950 Pro 512 for his X99 UD5 board (same setup as mine) and I am wondering what I need to do to get it to work optimally.

samsung driver is mandatory,
magician is optional.

Driver install is post windows install correct? not something you have to use to get the drive to show up right? he will be using this as a boot drive.
