SSD not detected in BIOS/windows

so i got an adata xpg sx8200 pro 250gb for my office pc, the board is an asrock a320m hdv. and yeah, the ssd isnt detected which is weird because the spec is completely compatible. ive tried different BIOSes, to no avail. are there any settings i need to configure to get this to run?

Is the SATA or power cable defective? Did you try another hard drive?

NVMe enabled?

Is the NVMe controller enabled in BIOS? Read the mobo manual if you can't find it in storage options. Make sure to set it as the boot drive after enabling it.
