Test it. There were other users of this drive where this SSD didn't work well for them on their mobo/platform yet other SSDs work fine.

software, one would assume.

Crystal Disk Mark or AS SSD would be my recommendation but just because your boot up time is slower doesn't mean it's going to bench poorly, lol.

are you comparing a fresh install vs a fresh install?

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)
Intel i5 4690K Haswell @ X4 5013mhz (+43.2%)
AMD X4 960T Zosma @ X6 4870mhz (+62.3%)
Intel i7 6700 Skylake @ X4 4709mhz (+38.5%)
Intel i5 6400 Skylake @ X4 4588mhz (+69.9%)

How in the world is your startup time so bad? I get to my system in 8 seconds at most then loading other crap from autostart takes at most 10 seconds. And it's on PCIE 2.0x2 mode. Either your system is trashed severly or both your SSDs are in terrible condition.

Hi,
I returned 2-512gb and 1-1tb because read/ write spec's were way off of advertised spec's
Crystal disk mark and hwinfo will show the same read/ write readings.

AS SSD is garbage.
