Yeah... my unaligned random reads are very disappointing, would like to improve that

Not too sure alignment will make much difference.. I believe Intel designed the firmware on their drives to account for Win XP machines (unaligned by default)... but would be nice to confirm if that's the case...

Not SATA III it's SATA 6Gbit/s
SATA cables are SATA cables, no such thing as a "SATA 6Gbit/s cable"

Pretty nice me thinks..

EDIT: I just saw I put a score of 339 in the spreadsheet.. Should be 399. Any ways to edit it?

Fixed your score

Looking at your board specs (Asus P5Q-E) and you have a total of 3 different drive controllers on that board, do you know which one you've got plugged in? you should get the best performance using the ICH10R...

Thanks your support is really appreciated.
I can't wait for those results, and you're on AMD! a treat to get some comparisons...
So far ICH10R + Intel 80GB has been a pattern

AS SSD's scoring seems really accurate, since it takes into account Random and access time numbers which other benchmarks show but don't score... so people focus on the big numbers (sequential)
