A single 120 rad would probably be able to cool several submerged Raspberry Pi's.

I have my RPi 3B crunching a couple SETI tasks now, looks like they will take 24 hours.  Running 2 tasks the CPU temp is at 66C.  I have heat sinks on the CPU, GPU and memory chips, but no fans, only the CPU is warm to the touch.

i found out that the RPi 3B's mounting holes are not compatible with my Rockminer R3's mounting points, they must be for an older version of RPi; so, I'll probably purchase one of the simple acrylic open cases and drill out the back side to mount the case to the Rockminer. A little annoying but not bank-breaking.

Edit: changed case info

I have been able to run three *real* projects now on my RPi 3B, Seti, [email protected] and Enigma.  It also runs WUProp and GoofyxGrid.  Running 3 tasks at a time keeps things relatively cool, and piles up WUProp points.  Anything else has not worked for me so far.  Just curious what all you are able to run on yours.

I've heard that it's possible to also run [email protected], [email protected], and yoyo on them but I've never tested such myself due to not having one. I suspect the biggest reason though is that I keep looking at higher end alternatives (ODroid C2, the new Asus Tinker Board)

Einstein and my Raspberry Pi do not seem to like each other.  I get a large percentage of failed work units or my RPi3b locks up.  Seti, Enigma, Universe, WUProp and GoofyxGrid are all fine.  Anyone else have a problem or a solution with Einstein?

It's caused either by memory, or lack of a swap file. Does it happen with four tasks running? If so, try three, some have reported success that way on the forums if I remember correctly.

Either that or it's bitrot on the SD card - Einstein is apparently harsh on SD cards, and picky about which ones you're running.
