Looks like I managed to snag 84 Denis tasks, all apparently stable version too.

I snagged some tasks on my 4790k.  So far 2 valid and 18 pending.  The devs haven't posted anything, so I'm not sure what these tasks are. There are still a bunch of tasks available. (54k at the moment) http://denis.usj.es/denishome/project-status/

Yeah I kind of chuckled at the app name. I've got some on my Q66 and 3770k.

Are these tasks AVX 2.0? I've seen several Haswell and newer CPUs absolutely spank my 3770k. Like 1/3 of the processing time.

i5-5250U CPU @ 1.60GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 61 Stepping 4]
http://denis.usj.es/denisathome/workunit.php?wuid=14055

4.7k seconds vs my 13k seconds.
i7-4870HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 70 Stepping 1]
http://denis.usj.es/denisathome/workunit.php?wuid=14105

This one is sad. 2.8k seconds vs my 15.2k seconds. A bit on slower end for ones I've completed so far. Might have been when Process Lasso had it limited to 6/8 threads.
i7-4770S CPU @ 3.10GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3]

All of those seem to be running OSX. I just noticed that even an old i3 on my Hackintosh rig easily beats faster rigs running Windows or Linux. Once I'm done with current tasks I'll boot an i5 that's been running Denis on Windows to OSX and see what happens to PPD

Hi everyone,

As some of you have noticed, there are new WUs in the system. We are starting with a small peak of work, but the idea is to maintain a continuous flow of new WUs.

This new part of the project is related to a Database of markers of the simulations. We are populating a database with relevant values of the simulations to make to scientist easy the way to make a exploratory study of the model or avoid making all the time the same simulations.

We are working on the interface of this database and how to integrate in our website, also, we are developing a post to explain more this idea of the Database of markers.

Happy New Year!! And Happy Crunching!

It was actually same way before on old tasks before people started making optimized clients for Windows and Linux, OSX tasks ran a lot faster. Well, u5 is now running on OSX, lets see what happens.

Windows vs OSX

edit. First results are in and the PPD difference between operating systems is quite clear

I have a VM set up on one of my machines; so far (running for just a few minutes so far) it seems to be at least a little bit faster than the units running on Windows. I will link results in a few hours when I get home from work. I am sure my results wont be as good as running the OS native.

...

Mac VM on E5-2670 doing units in 7600 seconds vs 17100 seconds in native Windows.
Mac VM on 6700HQ laptop doing units in 3200 seconds vs 10500 seconds in Windows
Mac VM on 6700K desktop doing units in 2800 seconds vs 8500 seconds in Windows
