I tried the project url, but it doesn't work........as I sit here in my computer room with fans a blazing wondering why I can hear and feel the bass from a car across the street at the car wash. It is literally rattling the window in my front door. bruce.gif

FYI the runtime estimates are off by a lot on most of these WU's. I set my work queue to 7 days, waited til it was full and then shut networking off. It has chewed through all that work in less than 24 hours.

I downloaded 5 days worth to start building a bunker.  It sent me some high priority ECM tasks with 34 hour estimate run times, 17 hours in they are at 80%, this on a 5820k at 4Ghz.  I'm not chewing through anything quickly.  Having the sprint project be one with giant work units is a curious choice.  When it comes time to unload these I will make sure to try and only download the smaller work.

Yes, the ECM tasks are the only ones with run times anywhere near estimated. The OGR tasks I got had 2 day est run times, they all finished in under an hour. Those ECM tasks increment by 20% so once they reach 80% they could potentially finish at any second (most of mine finished in 18h 45m).

Would it be worth plugging my 5770r into this?

I think the reason for the OGR tasks having weird time estimates is because it's a wrapper project. The OGR project is run by distributed.net with a seperate client, and a BOINC wrapper application tries to keep track of progress and awards the credits.
