I had like many on 5 clients for one machine at one point. I've tightened up the queue to like 0.1 days though.

Open up that task name field to see if it is all _1 _2 or greater work. Thats all junk.

There was zero new work listed on the website. Just several tasks getting resent back out after being invalid by someone. The other day it said like 127k tasks available. For several hours the tasks being worked on stayed around 30.5k even though there were no new ones going out. A sign they were all invalid and being resent. My tasks list had zero valid work when I posted earlier. Only invalid and error from so many invalid.

Goofy is taking a look at the invalids.

It looks like DrugDiscovery is back up - I've had 7 WUs completed and validated today so far.

Anyone doing the Solar Eclipse challenge on PrimeGrid? It seems my 2500K is beating my 4770K, when they said Haswell and up will have an advantage with FMA3 vs AVX. Its not really beating by much, the 2500K finished 1 task, where the 4770K has none and over 2d estimated completion time, and the 2500K < 1d per task. rolleyes.gif I don't know whats going on there. Some BOINC tom-foolery. Definitely faster though, my ol' W3690 is taking 4d+ to complete tasks. Think the challenge will be over by then...

@spdaimon I've added some tasks for the Solar Eclipse challenge as well. One way to speed up the completion time is to assign the work-unit more cores via app_config.

This is what I'm using to turn a normal WU into a 4 core unit.
Code:
<app_config>
    <app>
        <name>llrGCW</name>
        <fraction_done_exact/>
    </app>
    <app_version>
        <app_name>llrGCW</app_name>
        <cmdline>-t 4</cmdline>
        <avg_ncpus>4</avg_ncpus>
    </app_version>
</app_config>

Well, it's been three weeks and five days, but the AC is back in the window and MW is running again.

Too long.....

First time in over four years where I've had less than four machines running, I'll tell ya it got pretty quiet and kinda chilly around here....

Just in time for another week of 90+ degree weather!

Glad to be back!
