So this event date is still TBD but some projects are better for bunkering than others.

Deadlines:
SETI: Over a month
PrimeGrid: 6 days
Amicable: 3 days

SETI is the obvious choice.

I'm still getting some SETI credit and it's been over 2 weeks since my last task with 290 yet to be verified. Even if tasks are returned early with no bunkering, some of that credit will come due during the Pent if this is the project. The deadline also allows for bunkering to begin now even if this event is on the very last days of the Pent. It would require a TON of clients with it's 100 task per GPU limit.

There are several SETI.xxx teams anyway and I'm guessing they'll choose SETI.

I was going to send out some PMs about this very thing tonight. Great minds think alike.

Hmmm, so high chance of SETI then?

Probably give these two 1080Tis one last good work out before I sale them off. Right now though...looking for the darn air cooler for one of them. Some how missed place the darn thing.

I could probably help out with my two Titan Xps

When should I start if I am going to build up tasks to be verified?

Well what you can do is download the tasks when they're announced if the deadline is before the start of the Pentathlon's work credit date.

i.e. if the project starts May 14th and the WUs you're getting are coming to you with a deadline of May 13th they're useless.

Excellent.

Keep an eye on this thread, and someone will post as soon as it gets announced. Then we can figure out what the deadlines are and when to start hoarding some tasks.

That's why I'm crunching SETI since it has the longest deadlines.

Attach the project and run the Lunatics Win64 0.45 Beta 6 installer to get the optimized apps. Much faster
