Boinc for Android on Odroid issue

I picked up a Odroid c1+. I got Android 4.4.4 and BOINC 7.4.53 installed and it ran for a few hours before pausing and putting up a message to connect a charger. Obviously the power is connected since there is no battery. After some searches I found others had this problem with current version of Boinc in the play store so I went to 7.4.43, but it also has paused waiting for me to connect the charger. I know a few of you are doing Boinc with phones, but is anyone using a single board computer and Android? What version of BOINC? Or is there some other solution?

I've never messed around with an Odroid. Have you tried running a Linux distro on it other than Android? Most of the guides I have seen around seem to be running Ubuntu or Debian for crunching, rather than Android

There are a lot more projects with ARM Android tasks then there are ARM Linux tasks.

I've only really crunched a bit on a Pi and an old tablet, but it does look like most ARM projects are for Android. Hopefully with the increase in popularity of SBCs more projects will start to support ARM Linux tasks.

Yes it runs a version of Ubuntu the manufacturer packaged and there are others. As noted above there are Andriod projects I was hoping to collect some WUProp hours on, but I can't keep it running.

Most of my phones/tablets constantly say its waiting to be plugged into A/C yet it remains at 100% battery. Its dumb. I hardly get any hours from Androids any more.
