Projects of the Month for October 2018

October Projects of the Month

[email protected]
Start: 33 - Goal: 33 - End: 33 | [email protected] will pass us tomorrow and Ukraine is not far behind. We are well out of the Formula BOINC race here, but on the verge of losing the spots we picked up in the overall standings, in January.
[email protected] (Beta)
Start: 25 - Goal: 20 - End: 20 |
[email protected]
Start: 23 - Goal: 23 - End: 23 | We don't have any real threats here, but we could pick up a point or two in the Formula BOINC Sprint.

I am leaving the other two project open for right now. We can pick up one of them with whatever Formula Boinc Sprint is announced in a few days. For the other project, we could also run the mid-month Sprint and then keep it going until the end of the month.
Let me know if you guys want to see something else for October, and then we can crank it up and run it.

We'll roll with Einstein as our GPU project for the rest of the month.

I don't run WCG very often, so I like having it as our POTM for next month.

Oh look, I may not check out the forums often, but two of my main ones right as things finally start cooling off so I can run BOINC again? I like. ^_^

What are you running Einstein on? I just threw a Vega 64 on it, and running at stock clocks, I am seeing 540 seconds/task, running two tasks at once.

Just my RX 580. GPUGrid ran out of work last weekend so my NV cards were running it so some are still validating probably. The tasks seem to vary a bit between 810s(13:30) to 1100s (17:40) running 2x. They were between 17 and 23min per task at 2x which was 450-500k RAC. Vegas are great cards for [email protected] THe variability for me is probably just Win7 and AMD and me pushing the exe to a single thread. [email protected] is about the only project I've found where I can run 2x tasks w/o the run times exploding.
