Projects of the Month for December 2018

December Projects of the Month

[email protected]
Start: 23 - Goal: 22 - End: 22 | Moving up to 22nd would be a big feat, but if we really push it as a team we can snag some points in FormulaBoinc.
GPUGRID.net
Start: 24 - Goal: 23 - End: 23 | We have a good chance to move up another spot on our trek to get back into the top 20.
This is a bit different than what we normally do, but let's see what we can do as a team with just a single CPU and GPU project.

I just put some PCs on NFS. Maybe a team effort could move OCN up further. It looks like TAAT just made a push to get to 5th in Marathon so maybe 5th/6th would be doable.

I think mm67 and I will be able to get 1 point in Yoyo.

I'm open for any CPU project but as it is freezing in my basement I really would like a my GPUs fired up too. Winter is the only time I'm willing to run them all.

I can do some NFS.

But, I'm going through withdraws with free-dc being down for a week.

[email protected] 1.0 (we're rank 10) would have been a decent choice if they still had WUs.

RNA world has no WUs.

Mindmodeling also ran out of WUs but we're rank 3 in that. The same goes for DENIS, which we're rank 2 and well out of reach of 1st.

Milkyway (we're rank 2) is sort of a lost cause since most people moved on to Maxwell/Pascal or Polaris/VEGA and those don't have high FP64. Also Gridcoin has an insurmountable amount of GPUs.

I don't know if we have the PPD to match China in [email protected] to reach rank 10. Probably would be easier to do yoyo.

P.S. see attached.

Free-DC withdrawals here too. Bok has some updates on the main page.

The RNA points we do have was a single task of mine that took many months to complete.

We'll get a point in Yoyo tomorrow or the next day. The gap is already down to 232k.

OP updated with something a bit different than what we have been doing for the POTM.

How does GPUGrid sound? We have a good chance to pick up a spot in the overall standings.

It is driving me nuts as well. Hopefully he gets the database issues sorted out.

I'm already running GPUGrid on my NV cards so that works for me.

I was running GPUgrid last week. In a day or 2 I'll start back up after I earn my monthly allotment of EVGA bucks.

GPU Grid sounds nice and toasty.
