Yeah, that's not very good performance. I have a couple of tasks I completed today for SETI and it's nearly a point per second. 42 points in 49 seconds and 134 points in 158 seconds. 1 task each on a 1070 and 1070Ti with the CUDA 90 app in linux.

Ha well I can get about 450 points for 10000 seconds of runtime on my Intel HD graphics so... beat that.

I like this challenge, so I just fired up SETI on one of my Pi Zeros.

ETA is currently sitting at 139,000 seconds.

SETI is just too inefficient on win10Pro with a 1070Ti... or lacks support at SETI. Put the 1070Ti and 2080Tis back on [email protected] in their off time.
GPUs/CPUs currently in rigs here that get distrocompute work when free:
2 Titan Vs (7980XE) - MW + Uni
2 TXps (6950X) - [email protected] (+ 3 security cam recording)
2 2080Tis (8086K) - [email protected]
1080/7740X - [email protected]
295x2 (4960X) - MW
290X (2700X) - idle/off (room is being painted)
1070Ti (9700K) MW + Uni
980HC/2700K - idle/off/
Really?
lol - what a mistake, now after listing that... yeah, I've got an affliction.

The top windows PC isn't until mid 30s for SETI with some 1080Tis. Its still several seconds per credit though and higher CPU utilization. The next two windows PCs are mainly due to using CPUs as well.

Anyone done any testing with the optimized acoustics app on a ryzen system? I know sometimes SSE is better than AVX on certain apps with ryzen, I was wondering if that was the case here as well.

Ouch... But at the same time, you are using something that's lying around unused, so it is within the "totally not at all rules" of my challenge. I really should get those ODroid rigs going at some point, because I do want to retire these S3's eventually. An XU4 uses about the same amount of power, but has eight threads, or there's UP! Boards if I want x86...
