Greetings.

I believe for the Boinc team to reach the next level it requires leadership, energy and committment.

It needs a dedicated individual to pull everything together and to promote the team in the various projects, and to organise and maintain the Boinc forum section, or even a spin-off forum.

I have offered to take on the role with a guarantee of getting you into the top 80 and getting membership up to 200 by the end of THIS YEAR.

I am a confident lilpup and like a challenge.

If you would like for me to take on the mantle please add your vote to the poll.

If you believe someone else should take on the role vote accordingly and post who you have in mind.

The best teams have leadership and direction.

OCN have just breached the top 100......so NOW is the time to get organised, mobilised and step up to the next level.

If you have no use for my distributed computing qualities I shall quietly head on home and find another challenge

The management here at Overclock.net determines who will become the moderator for the BOINC team. So threads like these are just useless.

Moderator?

Who said anything about a mod?

And if they want to make an assignation maybe they should do so.
Whining at people who want to help your team isn't the best form....but it could be entertaining so carry on

Most projects don't even have threads or links, if team wants to grow it needs to spread the word and show itself.

Pup doesn't mind either way.....plenty of places to play

I agree that OCN has huge potential, but not behind people like Vaio who straddle the fence. He either needs to move all of his projects to OCN or leave. He doesnt show up on the team in boinc stats because it has him still eating PI.

Sorry if I don't "show" on the team but my mil a day is still going to OCN so what's the deal?

Is not about my output it's about someone taking the reins to pull everything together and promote the team.

I never have, and never will have ALL my output at a single place.
I like to visit other teams on occasion and make new friends.

XS is a typical example.

You doubt my motivation?.....well that's fine.

no i don't doubt your motivation. I doubt that you will be here for a while. You sound like one of those guys that come in, spend some time, talk the talk, then leave. And playing sides; what is that? Boinc some points for OCN while Boinc'ing points for others? Thats whats wrong with this world man; and whats wrong with my country. People contradict what they say all the time by doing something different. You need to pick a team and stick with it.
