I've acquired a second 5770 and was wondering if the projects I crunch on for GPU processing (Collatz and DNETC) would work best with a Crossfire setup or without?

EDIT: Turns out I was being overly ambition too soon, and I can't get my computer to recognise that I have two attached GPUs... Hmm... Any ideas?

you'll need to plug a monitor into both video cards and tell windows to stretch the screen.

Ah... That's an issue, I don't have two monitors haha. There's no way round that, you need to have a monitor attached for the card to be active?

CrossfireX is programmed for gaming enhancements.
I am not sure how it would effect GPU acceleration in other aspects but I wouldn't expect much.

Dnet is the only project that has CFX issues, 10.6 and 10.7 cats do not work.

MW and Collatz will run without issues.

I had to reinstall Catalyst to get it to enable crossfire.
