Hmm,didn't think about an OC causing problems with the project.Luckily my 5670 @ 1050/1270 has been crunching along no problem!

I have found instances where the OC will be 24 hours stable on OCCT but it will crash when I run [email protected] The tolerance for errors is very low with [email protected] and I'm sure that is the case for BOINC projects as well. While BOINC/[email protected] may not be the best stress test, a machine stable on OCCT or similar does not mean that it is perfectly stable.

i hear that. Its actually better to run a battery of tests that test individual parts of the computer. I've had times where OCCT, boinc, and even playing games would be fine. Then run 3dmark and crash. So you need to test all parts of your computer before you can really know if its stable or not.
