My Southpaw Extended 65%

My newest board I just finished this Sunday which is from a limited run GB. God this bad boy is my end game. I lost home and PC in the Camp Fire in Paradise CA so I set out to get something special and I think I ended up with just that. OCN will always be tech home so I thought I would show it off here too.

Southpaw Extended 65% keyboard, clipped, lubed, and Band-Aid moded the stabilizers, with Tealios V2 switches, lubed with Tribosys 3204, replacement 55g springs from Catweewee/Switchmod, Red LEDs, and DSS Dolch keycaps. My gallery

I am not left-handed. It's not 1985 there is no reason why the Numpad should be on the right side of keyboards for right-handed people. I get to have a smaller compact keyboard that lets my shoulders rest in a more natural position and not having to compromise losing the Numpad.

Mmmm... not having to take my hand off the mouse seems like a cool idea... might look into left-handed keyboards.

It makes so much sense to have the Numpad on the left side of the keyboard for right-handed people it's crazy. Sadly there are pretty rare only found in group buys and custom made one-offs. If anyone knows of a mass made keyboard or DIY kits let me know.

This is really cool. This is the sort of keyboard I have been looking for for ages. I need a lot of space for mouse movement, so I got a 60%. But I like having a numpad, which usually always goes on the right.

My endgame would be, I suppose, a 60% keyboard with numpad and homedelend section on the left, just like this one.

The only solution (practically achievable, unlike these rare and precious gems of keyboards) I've found for that is getting a separate numpad which you then position to the left of the keyboard. Or wherever you please, really.

Yeah, I did buy a separate numpad, but it's a less than elegant solution to the problem. Height, slant, and tactile differences and inability to maintain its relative position whenever I move the keyboard (which I tend to do often while gaming) made me realize "lefty" keyboards is what I really need. The problem, though, as you said, is that it's impossible to find one with my native layout and on sale where I can actually buy it.

Indeed, it is very inconvenient. For myself, I gave up on it and ended up training better finger agility for the 60%'s wierder combinations. However certain games feel really bad when played so.

Glad you're OK and welcome back to OCN. The board is pretty cool. I've never seen a southpaw board! End game? Does such a place exist?
