I'm buying this. They did the exact thing I wanted them to do since they released the first FK. Make it thicker and also a litle bit taller. Partyhat ON <: D

It is Zowie, but wouldn't they give it more cpi steps if it were the 3360? I think I am gonna stick to my regular FK1.

It's zowie. It's company policy to only make one change at a time.

TWO MILLIMETERS WIDER??? madsmiley.png

Really now Zowie talk about disapointing.

I as a man with 23 cm hands (inside wrist to tip of middle finger) and massively wide palms I was hoping for at least a 1 cm increase in width. A massive ambi mouse with a scale increase equivalent of minimum ~15% to 30% larger than current FK1, which would be ideal for me.

I really feel like I am not the only one here longing for such a mouse...

Why even make a change when the scale difference is som minute, seems like a total waste of a production cycle IMO, they could have cornered the bear hand market with a more ballsy move. Knowing Zowie though their production was defective and they ended up with mice that were clearly larger than they should have been, and so instead of throwing them away they market it as a "plus sized model".

Complete and utter joke of a company.

I'm not sure why ppl think Zowie would simply toss the 3360 in this mouse. First off, they likely won't hop on the 3360 train for a few months, at the least. Secondly, it would more than likely be a complete refresh of their entire lineup. Look at it like this, when they tried (and failed) at the omron thing did they make that exclusive to one mouse/series?

All that aside, I guess they are "listening" to a degree. I'd really want someone like Ino to get his hands on one to compare the extra width with the extra bump height on the ZA11. In other words, which one would truly "feel" bigger. I'm just not quite sure about the true demand is for this, but I guess it could be the "baby bear's porridge" between the FK1 and ZA11. Also, it's 5g heavier than both of those mice...

"To give the gamer more control and command over so much power there is some sort of a smoothing agent incorporated on the mouse chip that gives that different feel, that edge, that authority over your shots."

Naive optimism, don't mind me.

I wonder why they aren't doing an FK2+. A big problem with Zowie's short variants is that they're also really skinny, so if you claw grip and want a shorter mouse you also have to deal with it being as wide as a pencil. If anything I would say widening the FK2 is more important than widening the FK1.
