There is something about the buttons though that makes me click consistently slower than other mice. (I know human benchmark is not accurate at all. But i kept doing the test on different days and i was always slower with the xm1. So i think the button shape/actuation force or whatever makes me perform worse with it.) It is a good clawgrip mouse though.

First one is the xm1 , second one is the Model O. I score faster with g403 and even with the Zowie Divina S1. For me it just doesn't work as well as the others. Let's see how the Viper performs, that arrives tomorrow.

JFYI, On the Latency of USB-Connected Input Devices
Small scientific article, theory and some interesting measurement results.
@uaokkkkkkkk thread Firmware Added Button Delay Testing Attempts(Tapping mouse buttons lightly) referenced.

I just finished some tests with the bloody pk software.

I used the G303 and G403 as baseline (to make sure the results are not scuffed in some way and my G303/G403 have a 0.1ms difference between them in the pk test) and tested both against the Glorious Model O ( first gen, with the newest firmware and lowest possible debounce). As well as the G wolves skoll (first gen, newest firmware , lowest possible debounce) . I directly bounced the buttons against each other and the sensors were covered on all mice.

G303/G403 between 0.1ms-1.4ms faster than Glorious Model O

G303/G403 between 1.9ms-2.5ms faster than G Wolves Skoll

G303/G403 between 4.1ms-4.8ms faster than Zowie ZA-11 (this was done just to make sure results are somewhat accurate)

Of course its not an accurate test but this should be interesting to those who were wondering and don't have these mice.

I had to rma my Viper , since the M4 was double clicking right from the get go.

Has anyone tested on Linux? Based on this list - and the fact you'd not be able to change the firmware - which do you think would have the lowest latency on Linux? I'm guessing the Logitechs like the G303?

Thanks for that @SweetLow ! I would've never known otherwise.

....

NO 8000hz!?

>"The rafalog approach is destructive"

uhhhh... it's not destructive?

>Razor Diamondback
default 9.12ms, sd:2.30ms
1000hz 6.12ms, sd:2.67ms

That result caught my eye.

I wonder which revision of the Diamondback was tested. I don't mean to imply that it matters though. Just curious and all because it's a Diamondback...

Anyway, twas' a fun read.
