This thread reminds me that I would like it if Elecom payed Areson to do a MDUX mouse line refresh. It's my go to office mouse after I replaced the Paten/Fatal1ty 2020. I tried to use the Xornet II for that role too. But ehhh, it's not very good.

Cut them some slack when they more often than not just dump a mouse because they're too incompetent to fix their firmware which limits the sensor performance of the majority of their mice to sub 3m/s? Yeah, same.

"Push your mouse to the limited with Overdrive. Legendary shape enhanced with premium martials."

Nothing to do with feelings. It's my personal opinion. I like their mice and i use them just fine. As for the tracking speed, i don't move my mouse with 23113123 m/s speed when i flick, so they are fine for my mediocre gaming capabilities. It's fine you don't like them, don't buy them. No need to get toxic and ironic.

*EDIT* Still Razer mice and logitech have had worse fails.

Eh, you're treating CM like they're small fries while they've been around longer than Razer (1992) and are OEM partners with the likes of nVidia, AMD, and EVGA... They've been in this game awhile and are one of the most profitable computer chassis manufacturers on the market.

They make a lot of good products but, like Antec, are showing their age in their bread and butter markets (PSUs, heatsinks, and chassis). While they had some nice keyboard launches with CM Storm, they haven't been able to produce a mouse firmware that doesn't severely limit otherwise solid products (like my CM Spawn, which I love/hate). If they could get the firmware right (or, you know, at the very least, release the Spawn 2 we were supposed to get in like, 2013?) then there might be some ground to say they're trying, but...

I am a Marxist. Not the Sanders/Sweden/state bureacracy kind, but the workers' democratic control over the means of production kind.

I often use the debates I get into on these forums to demonstrate logical fallacies to to my students and debate teams I coach. Beware - your arguments are under scrutiny of adolescents and teenagers!

Personally I don't have anything against Cooler Master or any other brand but it's clear they need to hire some new talent for their Gaming Mice division (as do most brands actually). As an example I saw their MasterMouse S at a nearby computer shop. Mouse looked pretty nice, light weight, etc. Shape was far from perfect but I was ready to buy it anyway out of curiosity and ok price but when I turned it around and saw the sensor position I almost threw up... needless to say I got another mouse instead. A company that doesn't learn from their mistakes, doesn't know a thing about competitive play and doesn't listen to their clients complaints should be ran over by all the other companies who give their best and all their effort to produce winning products.

That said, is not like Cooler Master is doomed or something. Bring us a well thought, well designed, great mouse and we will praise it. There's nothing to it. Nothing against the brand, just sending out some though love. thumb.gif

I'm interested in Xornet/Spawn that isn't brutally screwed up. Might even trade my wireless G403 for aforementioned Xornet/Spawn.

But who am I kidding here.

Same here BUT CM will play this model like some 3rd grade porno shot on 8mm, all the impending excitement and build up only to see another example of CoolerMaster going completely limp at the last moment.

Let the whole production down and of course has to get a stand in to perform the actual close up shots leading to the final gasp of desperation from this company. Letting loose another horrid stain upon the mousing community here on OCN Central.

YES, you lot shall all be sprayed with a type of special CM Prawn Cocktail and you might even have a few fanatics here delirious enough to claim it will be their best ever, but also know, these are usually the ones who think that Razer keyboards are fantastic as well cigar.gif .

looks like they're releasing /two/ new xornets/spawns. one is a 336x, the other is a cheaper (10m switches instead of 20m) kb/m pack-in that probably doesn't use a 336x
