I think it's the standard black. I bought the desk mat of the standard black and while it's lovely its very very quick. Too fast for me.

I got the speed version which feels softer, more like the gsr super smooth. with decent control. Another naming fail by mouse mat makers ???? superb pad!

Interesting though. What's the definition of too fast? Anything to compare to?

Its a great pad just too fast for me. In fact I don't think i've used a cloth pad that quick ever in 20 years of buying many cloth pads.
