hell no, have you ever held the og abyssus before? nothing like a g100. source - i own both. the flat sides on the abyssus are not enough, the rest of the shape and button clicks are awful.

the best replacement for a g100s is a g100s, they are still readily available. go buy one.

You are right, a lot of fanboys who love using their G100S mice are now sad to learn that there is NO other model available to purchase matching their beloved G100S.

Just buy up as many as possible and keep them for future usage. This is one of those mouse models that will eventually run out and you can never buy them again, unless you're willing to hand over $200USD+

I still don't understand why they replaced it with the G90 rehash in Asia. On the bright side though, at least you can get one in white now.

It has the \ / shape on the sides for claw grip and the butt is far back enough to rest your palm on. The shape is good stop hating.

Where can you get a new g100s outside eBay? (Europe)

Why not eBay? Knowing most chumps, they'll double the price of it because it's "rare" or "discontinued". Just buy one from Korea for super cheap. It'll take a few weeks but, hey-ho, you have a G100s thumb.gif

I may or may not have done this with Kinzus. I may or may not have a bunch of NiB ones...don't look at me like I'm crazy, I'm not...not yet at least, I think I'm on the way though. biggrin.gif

will this be a good/lighter alternative to a g303? I'm not familiar with the original abyssus shape. Are the sides glossy? It looks like they are in the darker pic showing the lights, but not in the ones with the white background
