My desk isn't glass smooth though, hence why it doesn't stick without help. Same was with my zero but that one used to stick better.
Artisan recommends using small 2x2cm thin double sided tape pieces at the sides and center to securely stick it to the table if it's not the right surface for the suction layer.

Also you got it in mid hardness, right? I'm guessing it's due to that, because I have a Shidenkai in mid, and it slips really easily, while my Hayate Otsu in soft grips it relatively well (still slips if I put enough pressure, but not as easily as the Shidenkai). I also have the same Ikea desk as you.

Well I finally got the shipping notification from Artisan. They've given me a tracking number for "international e-packet" and I've tried using it on Japan Post, Australia Post (assuming it was an EMS e-packet) and a number of third party tracking sites and it doesn't seem to work on any of them. Where do you guys track your parcels from Artisan?

Primary System Specs: Lian Li PC-O11 DX - ROG Maximus XI Formula - Watercooled Intel 9900k (4.9Ghz) - Watercooled RTX 2080 Ti FE - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz CL16 32GB - Corsair RM1000i PSU - Samsung 970 EVO 2TB NVME SSD

Secondary System Specs: Fractal Design Define S2 - ROG Maximus X Code - Watercooled Intel 8700k (5Ghz) - Watercooled Strix GTX 1080Ti OC - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz CL16 16GB - Seasonic X-1050W PSU - Intel 600P NVME SSD

Track with the link they provided. It will work when the pad will be dispatched.

They didn't give me a link at all, just a number and the mention that it's being sent via international e-packet.

I'll try the number on Japan Post again tomorrow and see if it works.

They will send you at least 3 more emails when it will actually start moving.

Ah okay I suppose that would explain why it can't be tracked yet.

They did say this in the email:

"Thank you very much for the purchase.
Your order items were shipped in International e-packet today. (2019-07-12)"

Perhaps it was an auto-generated email with an allocated tracking number and the package hasn't actually left yet.

I'll keep an eye out for more emails.

i have a raiden as well and thought the same thing initially, but i actually think it's because of the feet of the GPW. the surface area is like 33% higher in vertical compared to in horizontal. i get more vertical friction on all pads i tried
