saw this v22 a3050 mouse which looked a bit like the io1.1, wonder is it the same shape.

and what looks to be the same shape with a cheaper sensor:

well the sensei has the hump to the rear, that has it in the middle like the io1.1. I agree that it doesn't look as tall though.

Seems pretty sketchy that a brand new company is releasing a honeycomb EC. That would take actual money to develop, vs what all the randoms do in just choosing an OEM shell. And a wireless version no less? Either it's a scam or a preexisting company wants to do this without anyone knowing it's them.

Looks really nice, but I think it's a bit far fetched. The structural integrity of the mouse would be severily affected if they actually put that many holes on the sides.

Sometimes companies like this are brands of a factory, you know, like Dare-U is a brand of Togran, Motospeed is a brand of Mototech, etc.

These brands usually exist as the default branding of their products, and as a kind of showcase. Usually, whatever they have in their brand can be ordered ODM. But there isn't anything stopping them from making a brand and just selling it for themselves. Maybe its not a factory, its just that it could be, because it'd be quite easy for them.

Anyway it depends on what someone thinks is a risk, some people would think little of spending $100k on making a mouse brand, if they thought it would be popular enough, and its easy to make a clone, because in this case all you'd have to do is get an FM and an EC, then just send it to a designer and tell them to make an EC design with the same holes as the FM. Because the mice already exist, its a lot easier than trying to come up with something new. Whether it's good or not depends on the designer and the person who owns the brands experience.
