My NEW-er Logitech MX518 arrived!

After 8 yrs...of excellent performance, reliability AND perfect fit and comfort for MY hand, I've finally decided to retire my trusty old MX518 for the new 'Legendary Edition' that Logitech just re-released recently. I really like this mouse for the full palm-grip shape, the thumb-well with just two buttons on the side that I program for "F" which is Melee for me. I just like everything about it and I've tried a few others like the Cooler Master Z3RO-G and the Mad Catz RAT 7 but I eventually went back to my MX518.
I can't wait to try it out!

Damn dude, I really need that mouse... Been using the old one for years, upgraded to the G5 and now i'm using the G502 Protheus, but the side buttons placement is a bit problematic for my rather large hands.

So how is it? How's that hero sensor?

Awesome! It's just like the original just better! If you want one, they only cost $59.99 with FREE shipping, direct from Logitech. Mine arrived within 3 days of placing my order.

If you LOVE the original released mx500, then this latest one is the only one to own and use daily.

The whingers you occasionally hear from on OCN aren't mx518 users because you can tell from their ignorant postings on what they always fail to redress, there is NO other shape on the market with this available hardware specifications.

Hence this model wins on every level. Cheap, works as intended and it reminds everyone out there what a superior design this mouse truly is.

I don't notice any difference in the weight or overall 'feel' from the original, it's just more crisp and responsive during game-play. 5 Stars overall. Could not be more happy with it AND...at $59.99 plus FREE shipping from Logitech, the price was right, that's for sure!

I like my G900.
I never could imagine after teasers and first pictures that G900 is so good mouse.

Where do you position your ring finger with this mx518? I am putting it next to pinky bended on the side: 1-2-2, but it seems still not perfect

There is no shape like MX518 because it was always a trash unsafe shape and the only reason Logitech and Nixeus bringed it back was because of the nostalgia people have for it so it's easy money for them. If you use this mouse in 2019 you are limiting yourself, there are much better shapes out there now and using a 100g+ mouse is a huge handicap you are giving yourself
