You could have made a thread specifically on wired vs wireless acting for someone to perform tests but instead you kinda made it off topic by making a thread on a subreddit when its focus is on something else, imo. Idk they also edited that comment you linked saying they know more about RJN but its an unsubstantiated claim in that context, so of course people will dislike it.
Also if you truly didn't care about what people thought about your nails you wouldn't be making all these comments and replies to them and you sure wouldn't make a thread on overclock.net complaining about it. Isn't it a little hypocritical how you're not talking about mice but instead the people of reddit on this mice forum? Just grasping at straws at this point.
It's arbitrary and inconsequential, but I was genuinely just wondering if there was a difference at all, not saying it was monumental or made wireless unusable or anything like that. I was just asking if anyone had any evidence or testing that showed Lightspeed = wired when comparing the same mouse. I don't care enough about the question to make a whole dedicated thread, though. I was just commenting since people were already on the subject.
I don't care what people think of my appearance, but I do care when the overwhelming majority of the response I get for a genuine question I was asking, about mice, ON A MOUSE SUBREDDIT, is incredibly off-color and off-topic, popping off about something completely and utterly irrelevant to what they're supposedly there to discuss. I ignored it the first five times I got it, but by the sixth and seventh time, I was getting really sick of hearing it. I just wanted an answer to my bloody question. Not to be judged by a bunch of insecure no-lifes who need to put someone down to feel good about themselves.
And it's not hypocritical, because I'm not responding to someone else's inquiry with something completely unrelated, much less personal attacks or unnecessary/unwarranted rudeness/derision. There are many threads on this board, and if you want something more specifically targeted towards mice rather than the communities surrounding them, there are plenty of threads in that vein. On the other hand, when I make a post asking about an issue I had with a specific mouse, there are clearly no other currently active threads discussing such an issue, so I can't exactly just **** off and go elsewhere looking for that information.
