looks like the shilling aint working.

I guess mousereview isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
They're still going the wrong way about it.

They're still posting in his threads and being mad. If that's just publicity, it's working.

Since we're on the topic of talking crap about mousereview and its users, one thing that particularly irks me about that sub-reddit is the kind of user that will shamelessly post a bunch of closeups of their gear, to show some mods or whatever, covered in grease and filth.

I was just reminded of this pet peeve after looking at this picture:

Spoiler!

I wouldn't touch that with a hazmat suit on.

The "should I clean / replace my mousepad" posts are the best (worst?) pure filth.

I personally wash my hands before going on my gaming setup. I don't think even mice I've used for a whole year have that kind of 'oil' built up on them. My keyboard/mouse at work are gross like that though - but that's because other co-workers are constantly using it

Bothers me a lot lol. Never used to let my little cousins use my console controllers either - would have a specific one for them to get their cheeto hands on... I just look at some gaming setup and go.. yikes.. that's nasty!

Maybe the extra oil is better for gliding and we're absolute peasants fighting friction because of our cleanliness OCD.

If after a year or more I can't put my mouse back in the box and mistake it for a new one, I'm not living right.

And I know I'm in the minority. That's why, like you, I don't let anyone near my gear.

Cover the bottom with teflon pads, drill holes in the top, disassemble and add a wire because "wires are better", boom: endgame mouse. Collect karma on subreddit.

Made a thread there some months ago, asking if it was mouseReview, or mouseInstagram, it got deleted with the reason "low effort post"

Apparently the endless endgame single picture posts arent low effort heh
