Mousepad Material and Speed

Which material lets the mouse glide faster on it, out of the following: plastic, glass and metal. Which of the three provides the slowest glide? Thank you.

it depends on the surface i challenge you grab a piece of glass ignore tracking use a smooth (not frosted) piece it will be slow after a while of use where the feet get smoothed by the surface itll be even more sticky like the mouse is vacuum sealed to the surface.

This is why plastic pads have those tiny bumps and the same reason they are so fast reduced surface contact.

On the cloth side i dont know how it works.

Obviously it depends on the surface. I mean if we look at pads designed for the purpose.
