Ordered one of these from MaxGaming. Don't know if I'll like the shape, might be too small but it's worth a shot. Gives me something new to play with.

It's only available for preorder in select countries at the moment, but I talked to a Roccat rep and they said preorder would be available for the US and other places before the official launch in September.

Thanks for that.

Yes, this new Kain model, is definitely worth adding to any Mouse Collectors weaponry of Input Devices.

I improved my clicks by opening the mouse up (my rounded skates came off with ease with a sharp knife, though I'm not sure about the flat skates). On the underside of the top shell there are 3 screws, I removed them since it seems to me like it was adding additional tension to the LMB/RMB. These screws maybe marginally affect pretravel but my clicks are much better now and don't feel so physically off. Ensure you tighten the underside 4 screws (where the mouse feet sit) properly.

I paracorded mine and the right click seems to be better when I left the screws a little bit more loose on the front than they were (they were very tight when I opened the mouse).

Are there any updates on when the final (non-beta) firmware fix will be released?

I just discovered last night I have the slam mouse button trigger.

go on discord and ask for 1.58 beta firmware, it fixes the slam problem.... will still double click though if you also have that problem.

Fr3akToday at 2:00 PM
@sephir 1.58 doesn't include the button release fix yet, that is what 1.62 is addressing. Updated versions of both beta firmwares will be posted here in the coming days. If they work as intended for everyone, they will be combined into the new official release.
