If you take a closer look you can clearly see it's Viper. It's much bigger and has separated main buttons with unique shape.

I felt up the (wired version I think) Razer Viper in a local store today and was very impressed with it. The shape feels fantastic for all 3 grip types. Low weight is really nice. Side buttons are a bit too hard to reach, but not a deal breaker for me. Cool new button tech.

Nice to see one of the larger companies finally make the mouse the community has been asking for for 10+ years.

Just a matter of testing sensor performance now. I'm not particularly interested in doing it myself since I don't play CS anymore.

High level competitive gamer (CS 1.6).
In my opinion any "gaming" mouse pad over $10 is a rip off unless you want to spend money on pure aesthetics. The $8 Supermat is better and cheaper than any "gaming" mousepad I've used. Zeus Gear XL is a good alternative.

I will not answer PMs that could/should be asked in threads.

Review from RJN:

He mentions this in the description:

Quote:
POTENTIAL ISSUE: So I don't know what this is yet and we're still testing it out... but for some reason on my main PC the Viper Ultimate will stop working for 50ms or so.

I don't think it's a sensor issue, might be a wireless issue... or might be an issue with me having so many things plugged in and installed. In game, it'll feel like the mouse just stops responding for a bit then continues as normal. Please let me know in the comments if you experience this. I'll update this when I figure out what's going on. Not a big issue, but I like to be thorough.

It's one of the best Razer mice imo since the inception of the Deathadder. Though not for me, I don't like how the front flares outwards.
