G-Wolves Hati HT-M3389 review.

original reddit review and video files:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview...tm3389_review/

i would like to thanks Xraypad,G-Wolves for providing this G-Wolves Hati HT-M3389 free of charge.

but this review is my own. and it will not change any of my opinions.

by the way sorry for my bad English i m french.

please note, this review has been done on a pre production model and some issues here could be fixed in the final release.

and some part of the design are subject to change.

https://shop.x-raypad.com/product/g-...-gaming-mouse/

the hati comes in 4 types: black, white, with a 3389 sensor and a cheaper model with a 3360 sensor.

the model reviewed here is a pre production sample of the white 3389 model.

unboxing: the mouse come in the usual g wolves package with the black and white box, similar to the skoll, and a thin box.

but this time, no goodies in the box . no feet or extra cord, the mouse come as is.

but it is still a great unboxing experience.

first impressions.

the mouse looks good and use the same coatings as the skoll, it feels light with a weight of 65g.

the shape is very close to the gpro wireless and the mouse have the same pill shaped side buttons.i like how the buttons are separated but still joined in the end.

it is a bit like the air 58 and the gpw had a baby.

first ingame tests.

the mouse in hand feels sturdy this time. the shell has absolutely no flex .

with the lack of rgb and goodies it seems g wolves focused on the mouse build this time instead of adding extras.

to me this is a good move.but it would be nice to have at least one light to show dpi steps...

speaking of dpi, the button is flush with the shell and hard to hit.

the mouse comes too with slightly rounded feets. it still use the intellimouse 3.0 feets and offer a very smooth glide.

it use too the big extra feet from the skoll, it came already on the mouse

the mouse use the same cord as the skoll, and straight up feels like a paracord.

build quality and sound test.

the mouse is sturdy, absolutely no flex here.

the mouse is a pre production unit so i cant open it sadly

it seems to use 50m chinese omron switch and some other regular mouse switch for side buttons. probably kailh.

the mouse wheel feels very good too, lighter than the model o with well defined steps.

my only issue is the mouse is on the noisy side with some rattle and spring noise here and there.

it will be probably fixed in the final unit.

note:videos in original reddit post.

the mouse just like the model o suffer a bit of side wobble.but nothing very important.

note:videos in original reddit post.

sensor and software.

the mouse use a 3389 sensor and the implementation is good here.

the mouse does nothing out of the ordinary and the 3389 work well in game.

the 3389 still suffer of some of the usual issues.i kinda have the same issues on my intellimouse pro like:

slight deviation and smoothing beyond 1800dpi .

2400dpi felt more like 2500 and 3000dpi felt more like 3200dpi, but this could be human errors when measured.

the 3389 seems to appreciate more cloth pads to hard pads and show a bit more inconsistencies on my glorious helios.

but it is not out of the ordinary .

the intellimouse pro 3389 suffer of the same issues.

the mouse seems to work perfectly at 1000hz.

the software is a good surprise here. it is a chinese software so it has some translation issues like angle snapping called callline and use a chinese installer.

but have some interesting options like debounce rate just like the skoll and model 0

the mouse come out of the box with a 10ms debounce time but it can be reduced to anything you want.

i have set it to 4ms like the model o and the mouse compete clearly with it.

more manufacturers should include those options. it is good for the short term and the long run.

it comes too with a lod option of 2mm and 3mm. unlike logitech mouses...

and the usual macro program to remap the mouse.

http://www.gm-wolves.com/app

bump test 10ms debounce vs model o.

bump test 4ms vs model o.

so tldr: this is a good mouse with interesting ideas. not perfect especially this preproduction sample.

the software help the mouse a lot. it weight around the air 58 and is a gpw in shape.

and in the end is on par with the model o.but i would like to see a led for the dpi state and maybe a polling rate button.

i recommend this mouse!

and if something goes wrong with the mouse ill update the review.

thanks you for reading.

Got one....

Just placed an order on the X-Raypad website for, the exact White Model that is shown here.

Looking forward to another "Cheese-grater' design to arrive at my front door.

So many new designs being presented here, have to set up permanent account for buying new mice. Great time to be alive here.....

I'll just have to wait until it's available on maxgamig. Customs would make it like $100 because it's outside from EU.

Had the same issue with a MM710 (3389 sensor), it was too fast, not just feeling too fast.

Can anyone compare this shape to the Revel? I have all these godly lightweight mice but still can't give up the revel because of the wider fuller booty and god-tier shape. G Pro wireless is too narrow at the rear causing me cramps up the pinky side. Model O is too low and only good for figertipping. Phantom UL is too wide at grip and too boxy. Just waiting for some company to release revel/sensei shape @ under 70g with crispier and less hollow sounding clicks.

Ooooh that sensor position is juicy... but can you please not use that cringy af online proprietary mouserate checker lol? And add an x-counts plot so we can see eventual (probable) timing inconsistencies between mcu and sensor.

The bottom of the mouse looks so much like a WMO, any similarity in practice?
