To the Australians on OCN, we now have a local Paracord Cable maker.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick heads up to the other Aussies on this forum that we finally have a local guy who does really good paracords. His name is Ben and his business is called AusModShop. He has a website as well as an eBay store. He's a really nice dude and I've been testing some samples from him since he started selling paracords, and he's made massive improvements in recent months to the point where I can confidently say his work is easily as good as the big overseas names I'd previously been ordering from.

I've attached some pics of the most recent sample I received from him (orange/black/white pattern) and included one of my ParacableMods cables (Red) for comparison.

The cables are priced at $20 for 1.5M, $22 for 2.2M, and $25 for 3M lengths (all AUD of course). Postage is free nationwide and generally arrives within a week. All of my orders made it from Perth to Canberra in 5 working days or less. Personally I think this is great as it saves us the long shipping times and additional costs involved with ordering from overseas. (Not to mention how low our dollar is right now)

He also sells Hotline Games and Tiger Arc skates, as well as mouse grips and in the near future, mouse switches too.

I should mention I was not asked to make a post about this, nor am I being paid to do so. I wanted to make a post about this because I think he does great work and as far as I know he's the first Australian business to sell paracord cables. Of course if you have a preferred overseas alternative and would rather stick with them that is completely understandable, but I think it's great that we now have a local alternative who does quality work too.
