MM710 software settings for optimal use

basically im somewhat clueless and resourceless(? i ithink that might be a word who knows) on what the ACTUAL, DEFINITIVE, best use of the "surface tuning" BS is

would prefer a solid polling variance over a mm or 2 of LOD difference seeing as i never really pick up my mice

default? tuned? somehow removed?

SIDE NOTE: for those who think that it works same as the Logi, i doubt it, although do not know for sure, but difference methods are used and im yet to dig through files to find a .cfg for my tuning in CM software, but any sure-fire info is much appreciated and thank you any and all for the time of day
