should I try win7 for more fps?(disalbe dwm.exe)

I watch youtbe one guys say
""I've been with computers since Windows 95 and I can say I know a lot about hardware. Windows 7 is not a bad system but Windows 8.1 has more beauty and more options. For example task manager of Windows 8.1 has more details than windows 7.

THE bad things about Windows 8.1 are those extra software that are build in. Store, Weather and all the rest that are pointless typing here. Windows does not need all that crap Microsoft has put in. Microsoft should have released two Windows. One with all that crap and one without. All of them are because of touch screen devices and are not needed in desktop PC.

If you want to upgrade windows, you need to see what hardware you have. If you have old hardware, they will not work well under Windows 8.1.

Have a motherboard that was made in 2010, have a graphics card that was made in 2010 with all the ram, hard disk and CPU then install Windows 7. You will have the same results like with windows 8.1. Keep in mind, these hardware have to be the same when it comes to specifications.

Windows 8.1 or 10 will work better on hardware that were made after 2014. Windows 7 will work better with hardware that were made between 2009 and 2014.

The technologies have two ways you need to mix and match properly. Software that is up to date needs to be installed on hardware that are almost the same age.

At the end, if you have your hardware over 3 years, they will have issues and compatibility problems with windows 8.1. The problem is with drivers.""

but I don't know my motherboard make year(I find Sept. 12, 2014)

No. Win 8.1 is better than 7 for numerous reasons like modern GPUs using tile rendering and things like waitable swap chains in DX (latency-related feature). Going from 7 to 8.1 was an actual improvement in the backend, while going from 8.1 to 10 was a downgrade since it just took what already existed and added more bloat and spyware. If people simply refuse to use Win 10, then the industry will be forced to adopt Vulkan instead and you won't miss out on anything from DX12 either (not that any good DX12 games even exist).

Agreed, win8.1 feels way better!
Win7 don't play nice with my computer at all. It works, but I get way lower fps in multi threaded games(like bf v).

Only culprit is the dx12 issue. At the moment I only play MW 2019 and that game force me to use the train wreck win10

if u want win 10 use LTSB only 2016 Version 1607

settings to use with it

hpet enabled in bios
bcdedit /set useplatformclock false
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick true
bcdedit /set tscsyncpolicy Legacy
bcdedit /set x2apicpolicy Disable
bcdedit /set use legacyapicmode Yes
disabled programmable interrupt controller in devmgmt.msc
Force msi mode all devices without drive/audio/usb

enjoy the lowest latency on win 10

My motherboard dosnt even have a hpet options, and as far as i can tell its off, since it doesnt have a driver installed (No drivers are installed for this device.)

If you play cs go on competitive sites, im pretty sure they wont accept this windows version since its to old, so its a no go.
And it dosnt have any support regarding updates n stuff.

And btw your gpu isnt in msi mode according to your print screen, since it dosnt have a negative number ?

Edit: Why would you wanna disable programmable interrupt controller ? "No drivers are installed for this device."
