Just for your info, if you like to make the mouse lighter without destroying it, you can remove the light diffuser. Easy 7g less.

Sorry for double post.
The r3 seems to be a great candidate for a g305 mod. I made a few pics of the g pro 3366 and the r3 pcb. With a bit tinkering the g305 pcb should fit too. The sensor position would be better too. imo
