Did they give up on rubber on the sides because all they used was nose goo to glue them to the mouse and couldn't be bothered to use an actual glue?

Good thing they dropped the rubber, its way too janky.

Either glossy plastic, matte plastic, or a GOOD coating, which you can scrub off if you prefer something else!

shame about the way back sensor though, but at least dropping the rubber is a plus

This kinda just looks like a Rival 110 with a slightly modified shell, buttons on left side only, 10g less weight and more RGB. I knew SS had something like this coming but honestly I was hoping they'd take the Rival 106 and put a TrueMove3 in it. I really like the 106 shape and 78g weight.

Primary System Specs: Lian Li PC-O11 DX - ROG Maximus XI Formula - Watercooled Intel 9900k (4.9Ghz) - Watercooled RTX 2080 Ti FE - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz CL16 32GB - Corsair RM1000i PSU - Samsung 970 EVO 2TB NVME SSD

Secondary System Specs: Fractal Design Define S2 - ROG Maximus X Code - Watercooled Intel 8700k (5Ghz) - Watercooled Strix GTX 1080Ti OC - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz CL16 16GB - Seasonic X-1050W PSU - Intel 600P NVME SSD

what is this "TrueMove Core"?

Manage to run your games at 300+fps before you talk about mouse precision.
If you are still struggling to reach 100fps or if you are using some IPS/VA monitor, don' buy mice anymore. Save money and upgrade your whole rig.
If you don't know how to upgrade, just throw away your Ryzen 1st and 2nd gen, get latest Intel i7 i9 with "K", get 4000+MHz memory.

The main problem with Steelseries mice is they don't really put effort on reducing click latency.
The are overly confident and thinks their products are the only correct answer.
