- Config your multimeter for "pass through testing"
- disconnect the cable from everything

If you look into the open end of the USB connector, the contacts down
the order is
BLACK GREEN WHITE RED

- put one multimeter end to the USB black and the other multimeter end to the JST connector finding the matching crimp/wire
- put one multimeter end to the USB green and the other multimeter end to the JST connector finding the matching crimp/wire
etc

This is the orientation you mean correct?

heres what beeped and where

blue and blacked both beeped on the first lead (labeled black by your description from my first picture in the previous post)

ok so on your guide swap the red and the white and it works
